Debbie J. Cohoon - Benjamin P. Kinney

Robert and Bonnie Cohoon of Spencerport are proud to announce the engagement of their daughter Debbie Jean to SSG Benjamin P. Kinney, son of Susan Kinney of Pavilion.

Debbie is a 1996 graduate of Spencerport High School and a 2000 graduate of St. Bonaventure University. She received her master's degree from Nazareth College. She is employed by Spencerport School District as an elementary school teacher.

Benjamin is a 1994 graduate of Pavilion High School and a 1998 graduate of SUNY Fredonia. He is employed by the U.S. Army as a career counselor.

A July 5, 2008 wedding is planned.

Stephanie R. London - Corey V. Ridd

Diana Ridd is pleased to announce the engagement of her son Corey V. Ridd to Stephanie R. London. Stephanie is the daughter of Neil and Barbara London.

They met in 2001 while attending DeVry University in Orlando, Florida. Stephanie graduated in 2004 with a bachelor's degree in business administration. She is employed at Motorola as a national accounts coordinator.

Corey, a 2001 graduate of Spencerport High School, graduated with a bachelor's degree in technical management from DeVry University in 2006. He is employed by the NBA's Orlando Magic, and works in their Information Technology department.

A fall 2008 wedding is planned.

McCormick - Anderson

Carolyn McCormick and Michael Anderson were married June 30, 2007.

The bride is the daughter of Katherine McCormick of Spencerport and Donald McCormick of Orlando, Florida. The groom is the son of Barbara and Andrew Anderson of Medford, New York.

Carolyn, a graduate of Monroe Community College, will be attending SUNY Brockport. She is employed as a 911 operator by the City of Rochester.

Michael is a graduate of SUNY Oswego and is a substitute English teacher.

The couple honeymooned in the Florida Keys.

VanScoter - Looney

Elisabeth L. VanScoter and Jonathan T. Looney were united in marriage July 21, 2007 at Covenant Presbyterian Church, Rochester.

The bride is the daughter of Martin and Carol VanScoter of Spencerport. The groom's parents are the Rev. John and Jane Looney of Lewistown, Pennsylvania.

The bride's sister-in-law, Rebekah VanScoter, served as matron of honor. Gerald Malkus, friend and pastor of the groom, was the best man. The attendants were friends and brothers and sister of the couple. The flower girl and ring bearer were Gracelynn and Nathanael Kisler.

Elisabeth is a 1998 graduate of Spencerport High School and a 2002 graduate of Grove City College. She completed her master's degree in business administration in February 2007 from Rochester Institute of Technology.

Jonathan is a 1996 graduate of Lewistown High School and a 2000 graduate of the University of Pennsylvania. He works for Juniper Networks as a principal courseware developer.

They will be making their home in Syracuse upon their return from their honeymoon in Australia.

Teresa M. Thompson - Daniel F. Webster

Connie and Jim Graves of Spencerport and Neil Thompson of Scottsville announce the engagement of their daughter Teresa Thompson to Daniel Webster, son of Gloria and Rev. Gordon Webster of Brockport.

The bride-to-be is a 1999 graduate of Brockport High School and a 2002 graduate of Binghamton University, SUNY, and is pursuing a master's degree in anthropology at the University of Buffalo.

Her fiancé is a 1999 graduate of Brockport High School and a 2003 graduate of Hamilton College, and is pursuing a law degree at the University of Buffalo.

An August 23, 2008, wedding is planned.

Shelly Azzolina - Jay Vetter

Jim and Elaine Azzolina of Charlotte, North Carolina, formerly of Spencerport, are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter Shelly to Jay Vetter. Jay is the son of Terri Vetter of Hornell, New York and the late Joseph Vetter.

Shelly is a graduate of SUNY Brockport and is employed as a service coordinator.

Jay, a graduate of Alfred State, is employed as a systems administrator.

Their wedding is planned for October 20, 2007.

Minnich - Schuth

Annie Minnich and Gareth J. Schuth were united in marriage July 21, 2007.

The bride is the daughter of John and Rebecca Minnich of Somerset, Pennsylvania. The groom is the son of Larry and Char Schuth of Hilton.

Gareth is a 2001 graduate of Hilton High School. Annie and Gareth are graduates of Messiah College and will reside in Carlisle, Pennsylvania, where they will pursue their careers as teachers.

Rachael M. Guary - Joseph P. Montesano

Darlene Cassidy and Ralph Guary III and Joseph and Susan Montesano proudly announce the engagement of their children Rachael M. Guary and Joseph P. Montesano.

Rachael is a graduate of St. John Fisher College with a bachelor's degree in business management. She is a consultant for Capital Bank & Trust.

Joseph is self employed, running Montesano's Italiano Kitchen and Montesano's at Wild Wood Country Club.

The couple is planning a December 8, 2007 wedding.

Fess - Andreski

Nicole L. Fess and Matthew A. Andreski were married July 14, 2007 in a sunset ceremony on Ocean Beach in San Diego, California.

The bride is the daughter of Gary and Melody Fess of Hilton. The groom is the son of Jeff and Patti Andreski, also of Hilton.

Melissa Matarazza was maid of honor and Steve Oster served as best man.

The bride attended SUNY College at Brockport and is employed by Olive Garden and Gold's Gym.

The groom attended Monroe Community College. He is in basic training and attending AIT School in Ft. Benning, Georgia. He plans to apply for training school to become an Airborne Ranger with the U.S. Army.
