In the spirit of the approaching holiday season, J. William Jewelers in Spencerport will help Spencerport Cartons for Christmas outreach efforts. J. William Jewelers will donate a portion of every purchase made in November to Cartons for Christmas. In addition, shoppers at the village jewelry shop can receive 15 percent off their purchases (excluding loose diamonds) made now through November 30 when they make a $3 donation to the Cartons for Christmas effort.

J. William Jewelers owner John McGrath said he and his family - wife, Joyce and children Brenna and Kiera - are aware of the needs for food and monetary donations for the annual holiday community effort organized by volunteers. "We want to fill in any gaps the Cartons for Christmas folks might have in their work to provide food to those in need. It's a simple way to help by offering our customers a discount on their purchases at our store when they make a modest donation to the effort," John McGrath said.

J. William Jewelers is located at 106 Union Street, Spencerport, 349-8300. In addition to fine jewelry and watches, McGrath also offers repairs, appraisals and service done on the premises. Hours are Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.; Thursday and Friday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Saturday from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.
