LeChase II hits 268-668; Wallace 258-663
A new quarter with new three-player teams competing on a new lane condition began Thursday, November 1 for bowlers in the Clover Lanes Sport Classic League.
Ray LeChase II, who led scoring on the final week of the 38-foot Sport pattern with 647, took top honors again this week with 668 on the new 42-foot Sport pattern. He had a high game of 268.
One of LeChases new teammates, Troy McClure, was absent, but Chip Wallace filled in nicely with 258-663.
Chris Lambs scores are rising as he totaled 634, thanks to a 258 finish.
Jeff Pealo was fourth in line with 224-620. For the second straight week Pealo went the longest in the 30-Clean Frames Jackpot - this time 9 clean frames.
Mike Rose Jr. returned from cashing at the USBC Masters and settled for 213-598. Steve Mastrosimone rounded out the top six scores with his 212-579.
The league, presented by Clover Lanes and LeChase Construction, competes on 4 different oil patterns, one for each 8-week session. The lane condition used is a 3:1 maximum ratio, which simply means that there is just under three times the amount of oil in the center of the lane, as compared to the outside. Typical house conditions vary between 10:1 and 25:1.
