Kansas bowlers battle in Bud Light Challenge #7 final; Kretchmer/Brunette Jr. duo wins Doubles;
Kretchmer also claims Sunday Marathon

In a championship match featuring two Kansas bowlers, Rhino Page of Topeka defeated George Lambert IV of Wichita, 191-179, to win Bud Light Challenge #7. The tournament was held at AMF Thruway Lanes in Cheektowaga on Saturday, November 3. Page earned $6,000, while Lambert picked up $3,000 as runner-up. There were 142 entries.

Top local finishers in the main event included Rochester's Mike Rose Jr., Top 8 for $550, while Lockport's Gary Kinyon, Buffalo's Matt Zasowski and Rochester's Ryan Kretchmer all made the Top 16 for $480 apiece.

Rochester's Jerry Brunette Jr. teamed up with Kretchmer to roll 1326 and win the Friday Night Doubles and split $1,500. The event hit the maximum of 40 entries.

Kretchmer returned to win the Sunday Marathon, topping a field of 45 entries with his 1364 total for six games. He collected $2,000 for that victory.
