Gary Kinyon takes top spot in Burlington, Canada event

Gary Kinyon of Lockport defeated Art Oliver of Canada, 235-198, in the title match of the Southern Ontario Bowlers Tour event held at Prime Time Bowl in Burlington, Ontario, Canada earlier this month. Kinyon picked up $1,000 in Canadian funds for the victory, while Oliver pocketed $450.

In September, WNYer Pat Brick registered a 2nd place finish in the SOBT stop held at Parkway Lanes in St. Catharines. Brick picked up $500 after finishing on the losing end of a, 216-204, title match decision to Jen Petrick of Ohio.

Other WNYers who made the cut in St. Catharines included Ryan Ciminelli, who earned $250 for his 3rd place finish and added another 300 game to his resume’; Joe Mercurio, who placed 5th for $170 and Frank Bellavia Jr., who ended in 9th place for $140.
