In week #7 of the National Bowling Store/Brunswick Senior Shootout at Transit Lanes, Morris Goodloe was the top qualifier with his 738 total. Goodloe had games of 228, 273 and 237.

Our #2 qualifier was last week’s winner, Hank Baker, who stayed on his torrid scoring pace with 260-729. Rochester’s Ken Ball was next in line with 268-715, Jerome Fenderson tossed 254-713, Matt Marzec rolled 268-706 and Mike Campbell checked in with 244-703.

Don Voss earned this week’s Peerless Workspace Eliminator jackpot with his consistent 227-227-238 (692).

Low to qualify this week for the regular cut was 677, Tony Sorrento claiming one Super Seniors spot with 268-674 and George Whittier’s 258-654 earning him the 16th and final position thru the Super Seniors guarantee.

In the Quarter-Finals, Ball sent Pat Parisi back to Jamestown, 245-216; Baker sent Jim Wolf back to North Tonawanda, 245-223; Campbell sent Marzec to the showers, 266-223; and Voss sent top qualifier Goodloe home early, 204-187.

In the Semi-Finals, Ball moved on with a 247-189 thrashing of Baker, while Voss survived a 173-162 low scoring affair with Campbell.

In the Championship Match, Voss found his strike line again as he sent Ball back to Rochester, 256-212. Welcome back to Don after overcoming his setback last season.
