BVL Team Baker Tournament on Nov. 3rd

The annual BVL Baker System Team Tournament, sponsored by the Rochester Bowling Council, will be hosted by Sunset Lanes, 1317 Chili Avenue, on Saturday, November 3. There is one squad only - at 4:00pm - with a maximum of 20 teams.

Five-player teams will compete in a 4-game Baker Format Tournament, where each of the team members rolls two frames per game. Teams may consist of all women, all men, all juniors or any combination.

The entry fee is $75 per team ($15 per person). A buffet will be served following bowling.

A merchandise raffle will be held during the tournament and for those who cannot attend, tickets will be available from council members.

In addition, commemorative patriotic bracelets, in support of our troops, will be available for $1.00 each.

All proceeds from the tournament, raffles and bracelets will be divided between the national BVL Fund and area VA hospitals in Bath, Batavia and Canandaigua, said Fortino.
